Never Too Late To Start Yoga With Adriene

Never Too Late To Start Yoga With Adriene aka (YogaWithAdriene)

I’m pretty late to the Yoga with Adriene party. After years of hearing about her from lots of different friends, I finally checked out her YouTube channel, replete with hundreds if not more practices of various lengths and various themes and focuses.

Adriene Mishler, yoga teacher, social media influencer and content creator.

Yoga with Adriene is one of the world's most famous Yoga instructors the modern age knows. Her YouTube channel has almost 11 million subscribers. She a yoga instructor, social media influencer and content creator. Before she was know for her Yoga With Adriene and YouTube. Adriene Mishler was born September 29, 1984 Austin, TX from United States. She's not just an ordinary fitness influencer.

She knows how to yoga! If you are aware of her you will know she is a popular yoga influencer with a huge following of "Yoga with Adriene fans" thought-out social media for her stress relieving exercises.

January 2022 was the first time I did one of her 30-day “yoga journeys,” where she posts new content every day for thirty days. I loved it and am a convert. What a great way to start the year. I have found that the commitment really keeps me grounded in January. Adriene’s attitude is always welcoming and makes me feel good even on not great days. And both times I’ve done it I have found the final session, towards which the month builds, to be an emotionally powerful experience.

It isn’t too late to jump in. The videos all stream on YouTube, so they are really easy to access.

And if you’d like to see the yoga with adriene move calendar, here you go!

MOVE 30 Day Yoga Journey Review

When 2022 came around, so did another beautiful 30 day yoga journey from Yoga with Adriene. The theme for 2022…Move.

The 2021 Breath journey was the first time I had completed a 30 day journey at the time it was launched, and it was a powerful experience knowing you were practising at the same time as people across the world. I had tried other journeys including Home and True, but in my own time.

I maintained a regular yoga practice throughout most of 2021. Regular yoga practice for me is not always about doing yoga every day, but it is about tuning into my mind and body. Sometimes I want to do a more physical practice, to move and to stretch, and other times I want something calmer, perhaps my mind needs some stillness or I’m having a lower energy chronic illness day.

I found the Breath journey such a positive experience in 2021, and I couldn’t wait to see what the journey was in store for 2022.

MOVE A 30 Day Yoga Journey arrived

What I loved about this move yoga with adriene journey is the way it interprets the meaning of movement.

Movement is more than just physical, although this journey definitely will honor physical movement if that is what you are after. There is also movement in the sense of what you want to move towards in life. Is it a particular goal or feeling? Do you feel like you’ve been stuck in life lately and need some guidance on how to break through what is holding you back?

Physical practice

Between the emotional and physical elements of the Move journey, I found the physical side easier. A lot of the practices built on sequences from the Breath journey and my body felt in tune with the movements and flows.

I would say that the video lengths were shorter on average than the previous 30 day series, which also made Move physically kinder and more manageable, both on the body and also for carving out time in your daily routine to practise.

I noticed general improvements in flexibility and core strength through the journey, and one of my proudest moments was holding a crow pose!

This series had a big impact on me emotionally. I’ve since taken more time to journal, do some self-discovery work and focus on the direction life is heading.

Moving forward with yoga 2023

As I move into another year of self yoga practice, I’m taking time to tune into what my mind and body want more, and how to practice in a way that embraces the connection between the two as I look forward to her 30 Days of Yoga challenges.

If you decide to join, I wish you all the best with it.
